DATE: 20th April 2017

VANUE: School

PARTICIPANTS: Representatives of the School and Municipality; Local Associations; Immigrants from East Europe, North Africa.

The workshop is divided into two sections:

  • In the morning students, teachers, representative of immigrants and municipality meet at the local picture gallery to see and discuss about an exposition of photos entitled “The Other Half”. Protagonists are children of immigrants that, now grown up, come back to visit the country of their parents (Asia, North Africa and Europe).
  • In the afternoon at school takes place the second section. The same people meet again to talk about memories, feelings, sensations and how to keep “the other half” alive, how to transmit habits and traditions. In particular, because Easter has just passed, the participants focus on this festivity, sharing typical poems and decorations.
