Migrants become citizens and take possession of the historical roots of the city

During the various meetings conducted with migrants, the consideration that living a city and a community also means knowing its history and traditions and getting part of their narration and maintenance in life has emerged. This is how the idea of parting in the historical parade was born, which each year enlivens the streets of Follonica in the re-enactment of one of the most important moments in the city’s history in 1800.

The location this time was the annual historical re-enactment curated by the association Follos 1838 and, more specifically, the representation of a small market of arts and crafts of the nineteenth century. The aim of the day was to create a further new opportunity for meeting, dialogue and mutual knowledge between the local population and young migrants present on the territory.
